Welcome to the Vista Church website. We’re glad you visited us. Vista is an exciting, new church located in Heartland, Texas that desires to see lives, families, and communities transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. Our entire mission is summed up in three words: “Christ…Community…Cause.” We are committed to connecting people with Christ, His community of faith, and His worldwide cause and we would love for you to come join us in that mission. So, I invite you to come be our guest this Sunday at Vista. We are excited about the days ahead and we look forward to meeting you.

Blessings,

Kevin

What to Expect

Each week we want you to feel “right at home.” And we know that your first time at a church brings up some questions. How do I get there… what should I wear… what’s available for my kids… what should I expect in church? Here is a quick look at what you can expect each week at Vista Church:

How do I get there?

Vista Church is currently meeting on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am at:

What should I wear?

We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. Most people will dress in casual weekend attire, so dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in.

What’s available for my kids?

Children and youth are important to us at Vista Church. We do not view children and teenagers as the future church…we view them as the present church. So, we have created a special time of worship and Bible study geared specifically for children called Camp Vista. In Camp Vista children sing songs of worship to God, play crazy games, and learn about Jesus Christ through grade-oriented Bible studies. The bottom line: your children will love it!

What to Expect in Church

First of all we want you to feel like you are part of the family but we will never single you out. You will find a Communication Card in your chair. This is our initial way of communicating with you. Fill it out at any time during the worship gathering and place it in the offering basket when we pass them around at the end of the gathering. It is as simple as that.

Our worship is also simple and relevant. The music is joyful and upbeat while the message is stretching and practical.

Finally, after the worship time is over, stick around and meet some new people. Have a cup of coffee on us. Chat with our pastor, Kevin, and his wife, Kathy, about the direction and vision of our church. We hope that this time becomes the best part of your week!
